「Maine is our favorite place to be. This property was great. Tons of shade, a beautiful lake, dock, fire pit.. we had a blast. Even swam in a rainstorm and it was beautiful!! We visited Eastport and fell in love with a small little fishing town. Jasper beach was BEAUTIFUL even in the fog, such a special place. 「We loved stargazing from the deck - amazing night sky (especially with binoculars)! The cabin was very comfortable and had adequate supplies for cooking basic meals. The location is VERY remote, which we frequently look for. A mid-point for exploring both Acadia/Bar Harbor and the Bold Coast - Quoddy Head, Lubec, Western Head Preserve and East Port.」

「After a very stressful 4-5 weeks in our regular life, a week of peaceful days and quiet nights couldn’t have been more appreciated. Weather beautiful, a little windy for fly fishing but our guide on the lakes made it work. Fishing right off the dock early mornings and late evenings with spectacular sunsets right in front of us. 「My family and I were looking for a true down east Maine getaway without dealing with tourist traps and large crowds. This was such a wonderful way to do it. The property is as described. The views and sunsets are picturesque. Sandy and Charlie are incredible people who made our stay perfect. The town is geographically located near numerous outdoor excursions and hikes. 「We had a very nice stay. The view of the inlet with all the lobster boats was beautiful. We enjoyed the dock/water access as well - our kids were able to spend some time fishing and even waded in the water. The drive is a little far to Acadia (a little over an hour) but we were still able to use the rental home as a base for visiting the National Park.」

「This location was what our family needed for a long weekend of nothing! The Rocky beach was isolated, yet a perfect place for our young grandchildren to explore and search the ‘pirate cove’.
