“We had a great trip, the cabin was cozy, clean and beautiful. The host very responsive and thorough. We took advantage of the local shops, hiking trails and ventured to Tahquamenon Falls along with Whitefish Bay. All in all, we were very pleased and look forward to coming back. Highly recommend.”

“This property is as described and shown in photos. It is small, we had awesome sleep as the bed is comfortable. It is accurately described and depicted in photos and is what we expected. Outside mosquitoes are prevalent but there is screen in porch. It was quiet and we slept well for our 1 night stay.”

“Our cabin was exactly what you think of as an up north getaway. Cozy and in an ideal location. Location was close to the Mackinaw Island ferry dock, the lake was great for this kids to play in and the fire pit made the evenings great. Host was great and responsive, the check in/out was easy. Would definitely recommend.”

“The cabins were cute, cozy, and a perfect quick getaway. The view of the lake was beautiful, would be a great summer spot to enjoy the water. The bed was not super comfy, but for the price it was perfect. We brought our dog and he enjoyed the cabin too! We would return.”

“Just Kevin was perfect for us, only drawback was a very small bathroom. The location couldn't have been better, only 5 miles to Mackinaw City and the ferry to Mackinac Island,and very close to Cheboygan too. View of the lake was beautiful and we spent a lot of time sitting on the swing down by the water. House was very friendly and accommodating and a wealth of information and things to seem to in the area. Would definitely stay again but would out for one of the other rooms with a bigger……

“This review may be long, but it lets you know all that you need to know about staying in one of the 4 person cabins. We stayed in cabin 2 "Big Mike." To start, I would give this place 10 out of 5! We read ahead of time that check in was just walking in. Upon arrival, our cabin was open and the keys were on the table. Everything you need is there! The pictures online do not do the cabin justice and REALLY need to be updated. We overpacked in preparation of needing a lot of things that were……

“The cabins are pretty close together, and the water is only about 5 feet away when exiting out of cabin 6s back porch. Cabin 6s bathroom is pretty small, and hard to walk through. The whole bathroom is cramped including the toilet area. The walk in shower is really out of place and the only light in the bathroom is right above the shower stall. The steam from my shower made the light flicker, which I got a little freaked out by it. The cabin overall could use a lot small repairs and updates.……

“This was such an unexpected delight vs. the listing. It was very confusing for check-in though as Expedia and Red Awning had incorrect contact information. This made it difficult to know what to bring. It turns out everything needed for a fun week's stay was included except sheets and towels, and the gracious host was understanding of the mix-up and squared us away. The hosts were friendly, the cabin clean and homey, and there were plenty of activities available for free including canoeing,……
