I wonder how this hotel has got 3 star ratings when the building was way poor in cleaning and the whole room was totally smelly like a weed smell. There were cob webs and room was smelly at all time. There is no provision for setting the room temperature also. It’s totally not recommendable

It was quiet and the beach area was great. the room we had the carpet needs replaced the area by the bed to the bath area is not good I step on it and it had a sharp spot. also the ac unit was really loud we walk around and we didn't hear other units. we would stay again

I would rather sleep in my car than stay here. Had 1st level beachfront room.walked in room to check it out first. Sliding door lock completely broken. Front desk called maintenance. As we stood in room waiting for him(never came) 30 minutes later. We noticed on all the walls streaks of black trails…. Either bed bug and or cockroach infestation. Pulled back the sheet on bed to find stains & black specks on sheets. Literally started dry heaving. Thank god we looked in the room 1st before bringing in our luggage. Ashley the “manager” is an absolute coward! Would not refund us nor would she or any staff go look at the condition of the room. She would not even come out & face me. Her staff called her & yet she answered & then kept telling me “she’s on another call” she’ll call back to “talk to me” about her refusal to refund me. She offered another room. Are you serious???? Absolutely filthy disgusting room and another one would be better??? I arrived 1 1/2 before check in & room wasn’t ready.. no worries… went back at 4 check in time coward Ashley nowhere to be found! Imagine that… she had her other 2 employees working the front desk. She’s dirty just like the facility she runs!!!! Full well knowing there’s going to be complaints from customers. STAY AWAY !!! Unless you want to bring home an infestation of bed bugs and cockroaches.

I appreciated the kindness of the staff- they were great. The facilities and grounds have been neglected and are simply in disrepair. Rooms are surface cleaned only. The carpets are dirty. Our coffee maker- which was located in the bathroom- had standing water in it the tank, upon our arrival and it was slimy inside the tank. Needless to say I went out for coffee. The pool was not clear, and looked unclean. I complained to the manager- who was professionally rude and clearly did not care to listen to my concerns. The only benefit was the beach nearby. At the end of the day we were happy to have a place to lay our heads- but I wouldn’t stay here again nor can I recommend it to anyone. The price we paid was moderate to high- for our family- and the hotel quality did not match its price in any way.

I was very disapointed that when I booked through Expedia that I had asked (through Expedia) a room on the lake shore. I did not get a room over looking the lake. The lady Maria was super nice and gave me a room half way looking the water. She didn't have to, but she did. The rooms were a little dirty with cob webs and bugs. The stairs were filthy. Its really run down. I won't be using Expedia any more to schedule my bookings. Thanks MaryAnne

When I checked in a short fellow was very rude, did not even look at me, when I asked if he could tell me where breakfast was served he said "2nd floor behind the pool" I said ok where is the pool? He breathes out all slow and says "behind you". It was across the parking lot from the front desk. There was a taller fellow when we left who was pleasant. Room sheets and pillow cases were stained, one bed looked like it had not been washed. Ran out of toilet paper and no toiletries. The pool area was dirty and the hot tub was green and the water smelled.

In walking distance of most things. Beach is nice. Hotel definitely needs updates. The one elevator they have smelled awful. Our room was not very clean and we found someone's wet shorts in the closet. Breakfast is pancakes, ham, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and cereal. I guess you must have to request housekeeping because our room never got cleaned. The beds are not comfortable compared to most hotels we've stayed in but we were able to sleep. It's not the nicest

The hotel staff was kind. The hotel it self was ok, but dated, however the pool area could use some improvements. The pool and hot tub worked fine, however the building houseing it could use some overall improvements. We did however have an overall good experience when we were there.

Arrive to check-in at 3:15. Was told that my room would be ready in about 30 minutes. Okay no problem- i knew i was early. I came back in 30 minutes (at 3:45, which is only 15 minutes prior to check in time) and the front desk employee began to get extremely rude with me, telling me that my room might not be ready at 4, and i may have to wait even later, when I asked questions about What time the room would be ready? He got increasingly rude and told me that I would need to come back and it may not be ready at 4. It was so disarming it felt like they didn't even have the room I reserved. when I came back at 4, the same rude employee had keys waiting for me. I asked the employee what time breakfast was and instead of simply answering me, he rudely stated i could read the information on the keys. So I i went to my room, and lo and behold, there were two people ALREADY IN THE ROOM ! They were fortunately very kind, but expressed that their room was extremely dirty at check in and the employee had also been super rude to them when they had checked in. When i went back to the front desk, the employee again was very rude and refused to apologize /offer anything to make up for the fact he had sent me into someone else room. I asked for him to write down a request for management to call me. He ignored my request and refused to write down for his manager to call me. I got new keys and went to the room, which yes, was filthy and had dirt/black/mold marks all over the walls

Property is old, mold everywhere, spiders are huge in my room. Windows are filthy screens are torn. Floor in and around bathroom filthy.

Clean room. Trash all over the ground, seagulls everywhere, pool didn't look good, housekeeping never came to our room, breakfast was decent. Easy walking distance to Arnold's Transport ferry. I wouldn't stay here again, but it was ok.

Very good location. Our room was very old and run down from the walls to the floors to the furniture. Very unpleasant smell when we walked in. For the price we paid it was a big disappointment.
