Clean and very affordable room in a no-frills motel, which is exactly what I was looking for. Property is quiet due to being off the beaten path, a tourist row of hotels, restaurants and shops. I will definitely stay there again as this was my second time staying at this motel.

Great two-night stay on the Michigan trip from Detroit to Lansing and Mackinaw Island. Clean, easy, and fun, with a smooth ferry ride over to Mackinac Island. Loved the North Woods feel and the Great North Woods fudge — highly recommend.

Our stay at Starlite Inn was very good. The staff member that we interacted with was very friendly our room was clean, tidy and spacious as was the bathroom. The air/heat unit worked well (we used heat). We felt very safe and parking is right outside your door. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable but needed some updating. Be aware that the shower head is very low which a tall person would have a hard time. This was a good place to stay for the night for our trip to the UP.

Room 3. Nothing can be done about the few nats and mosquitoes that snuck into to room before my arrival. Once the pests were done in, my stay in room was very nice. Comfortable bed, soap and towels aplenty, air conditioner was small but cooled off the room with no problem. Room has a rug, did not use TV. Considering the great price and proximity to the Mackinac Island Ferry, highly recommend to the budget traveler

It was a beautiful, huge room with big fluffy towels and the jacuzzi was very nice. The jacuzzi had some rust in the lines, so when I ran the jets, it made some yucky orange bubbles, but I just wiped the sides, emptied it, and refilled it. That was all it needed. I highly recommend! I didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice too.

Staying here was as rustic as camping. It’s outdated and needs some TLC. High points: our room had clean bedding and adequate parking. The hot tub was powerful, hot, and large, but no indoor pool. Low points: our room lacked electrical outlets, the mattresses were hard, and the room had cobwebs and rusty fixtures in the bathroom. Another point: while we were checking in 3-4 guests had to ask the receptionist for the Wi-Fi password. It seems like the rooms could have a notification vs disrupting the front desk.

We chose this place because they said it was clean. Someone had peed in the toilet and did not flush it, we contacted the property and they did not clean it before we checked out. I chose this room because it had a jacuzzi tub which I did not use because I didn't feel it was clean.

The room itself was dated but clean. The AC did not blow cold. I removed the cover after a couple hours and found the whole unit covered in black dust. At that late hour, I took a towel and wiped it down. It worked much better afterwards. Just poor maintenance. I reserved the room a month of ahead of time for an event. By the time my stay came the price had dropped by half but I was locked into the Expedia price

I called because we were going to have a late check-in and they said no problem, someone was at the desk all night. Well they didn’t tell us that we had to go two motels down to check in. The rooms weee disgusting. The carpet was dirty, the toilet was so gross. The two beds were were different heights. The shower head is for someone under 5 ft tall. I would not recommend.

Check in was a bit difficult. It was not well known as to which building to check in at, but did eventually find it. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Was not given the Wi-Fi password. The advertisement in the room for the Papa Zo's free delivery to the room is a bit misleading. Yes, delivery may be free and getting the order is quick -- but the pricing is outrageous. This, of course, is not the fault of Budget Inn; however, if you're staying there BEWARE.
