A lovely family visit at this lakeside get a-way. Enjoyed kayaks provided by hosts, and swimming in Lake Gaston.

Memorial weekend

We were a group of friends spending the 1 year anniversary of losing a precious friend/ young person. We were looking somewhere to be together and also have solitude. It was the PERFECT place.

Great getaway!

This house was extremely clean and recently updated. It had tons of entertainment options, especially for kids - board games, video games (Wii), fuseball, pool, and kayaks. The screened porch was favorite part of the whole house - it was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view of the lake. Highly recommend for a family getaway!

Fun and clean

Check in at 4 but we got there early, message the host to see if we can check in early. surprisingly he called, telling us as soon as the cleaner finishes we can check in, but for the time being enjoy the back yard and water. Wow I am pleased. I will be coming again soon.

Hummingbird Haven

Had a wonderful time. The house was very comfortable and clean. The lake was beautiful. We had so much fun fishing and swimming. We lost some power during a storm. Homeowner was very helpful in getting that corrected. The linen service provided the wrong size fitted sheets for 2 beds but we made do with what we had. Could not locate oars for kayaking and wish we had power at the dock. The storm may have done that as well. This home has everything you need. Very quiet area. We can't wait to return. Ann and Less are wonderful hosts.
