“This was our first time staying at this property and we genuinely hope it will not be our last. The host was helpful and communicative and the property was impeccably clean. We enjoyed the conveniences and small details in the home that made the stay extra enjoyable.”

“Very nice experience. Breakfast was farm to table!! Also, got to see the milking of the cows. Thank you for your hospitality!!”

“Very good ”

“Overall a great place to stay in Allentown. The place is well appointed and the beds were comfortable. We ended up parking on the street as parking behind the building was a bit confusing to understand precisely where to park. You do have to pay to park on the street every day except Sunday. The owner of Gems and Joe was very kind and informative regarding the area. This is so much nicer than a hotel and so much more comfortable.”

“We appreciated the house's location and proximity to several activities and restaurants, and that the host responded quickly to messages. However, our main concern was that the property wasn't as clean as expected upon arrival.”

“The unit is as pictured and is very nice. I stayed here for 5 weeks and was very comfortable. The house has great amenities, which I really appreciated as I am a traveling student and am not used to a VRBO being so well-stocked. I appreciated the parking space as well. The neighborhood is okay. There is a nice park about a ten minute drive away. There was an upstairs guest as well, and the sound barely traveled, which was also a nice change.”

“Natalie was very communicative and responsive. The house had all the basics and was perfect for the weekend away, The shower is excellent.”

“Very nice place for our family to stay.”

“Property is nice and clean. Host is quick to respond if there’s a question. Interior is as pictured; no surprises. Nice and clean. All amenities worked and the hot water stayed hot in the shower. The heat worked good - it was below freezing and the heater kept up. I would recommend for a budget savvy traveler”

“Very unique and situated in a quiet location.Stepping up the ladder to bed took a little maneuvering but not too difficult. The ONLY very minor issue is there's no convenience store close by.So make sure the guests pack snacks & treats. But you are out in the country so that explains that!I will be back!”

“A perfect little cottage for our girlfriend getaway weekend! We did not spend much time at The Cottage as we were out and about, but the time that we did we were made to feel so welcome~~~ any questions we had the host were quick to respond. We were provided fresh eggs, and coffee in the kitchen, sweet little amenities and extras in the bathroom if you needed them, as well as plenty of towels! We would have loved to use the hot tub one evening, but we were so tired from all of our antique……

“Excellent stay in a great location! Exceptional communication. Highly recommend.”

“Perfect weekend get away for the wife and I, helped us unwind on a personal level while getting out of the house and taking a break for ourselves. Was able to cook our own food and enjoy some solitude.”
