“Our group of 8 stayed for the weekend at Lisa's beautiful farmhouse. We were there to attend my niece's wedding that was held at Stover Hall which was less than a mile down the road. We really loved the house and enjoyed all the amenities and extra touches that Lisa so lovingly added. The house was spotless and there was plenty of space for all of us. The laundry room with the iron and board was really appreciated as there was lots of wrinkles to be ironed out! The fresh duck eggs were delicious……

“We really enjoyed staying at this cozy, renovated1700's kitchen house! It had perfect spaces for our 2 teenaged boys to spread out upstairs, beautiful views and places to walk, and was excellent for running between Woodberry and Charlottesville. The friendly dogs and fresh eggs were an added bonus for us.”

Beautifully appointed throughout, with a kitchen so well stocked you'll be a cooking like a professional chef in no time! Sweetland Farm is a dream. Plenty of space inside and out. Perfect for 2, yet equally great for a family of 6. Enjoy a sun-soaked morning coffee on the front porch and a sunset meal right off the grill on the rear deck. Gorgeous……

“The tiny house was everything we expected it to be. Just amazing. The location was perfect and the view was spectacular. It’s only about a 10-15 minute drive into town and just as close to the caverns. The owner lives next door and was very attentive to anything we may have needed which was great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet getaway for the weekend.”

Spotless and comfortable, it has all the amenities we needed to prepare our meals, the rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. “Our small start-up needed a place to think, break bread, and relax together. This was the perfect setting. We appreciated the layout with its separate-but-equal bedrooms and places to join together, like the lovely and spacious dining room and living area and amazing kitchen. But mostly it was nice to be outdoors with the livestock, including a turkey that seemed to get our jokes.”

“Cub Acre Farm was right up our alley! We love old homes, especially farmhouses. It was secluded, quiet, inviting, and peaceful. The view from the back porch was spectacular and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our meals. The only thing I would change is the availability of a washer and dryer. We are looking forward to staying again!!”

“We rented Due Sorelle for our extended family during our son's wedding weekend at Early Mountain Vineyards. We loved the house -- it was charming and spotless, with the bonus of a generous welcome basket waiting for us at our arrival. It provided a restful, comfortable home base for our out-of-town parents and siblings to prepare for the weekend activities and relax between events at the vineyard (only a 15 minute drive away). Our family members also enjoyed spending time on the patio and raved……

“The property itself met my expectations and was pleasant to stay at, however, upon check-in i was told that there would be an extra cleaning fee (expedia wont let me include the price but it was a good amount). I was a little surprised and wished they had made that more clear before i booked the property, but at that point i had to pay the fee. Following that, we were given a checklist of our duties upon checkout that included stripping the beds, washing all dishes, taking out the trash,……
