“Great location, plenty of hiking options. Spent a lot of time in Hot Springs and a day in Asheville. Spent nights sitting outside and enjoying the peace and quiet!”

“We booked the house on a whim, and had no idea what we were getting into. We took the hosts suggestions and took the ski lift twice and spent half a day exploring bald eagle mountain. The remainder for the time my kids begged to play at the cabin or at the creek at the bottom of the hill. The weekend felt like a home away from home, very comfy. Thank you so much for having us.”

Fire pit area is a great spot to hangout. Highly recommend 4 wheel drive to access the cabin. Will definitely be staying here again”

“Enjoy a taste of living like a pioneer with the modern amenities at hand. The cabin is authentic from the bare bones of the timbers to the carefully selected antiquities that are sprinkled throughout the home. And the view of the misty mountains and the roaming deer add to the feel of living during the early 1800s. The hosts are amazing too! They stay connected without being intrusive. “We came up to Hot Springs formy husband to hike the trail. We have 2 kids under 15 months and a 13 year old dog. The selling point was the fenced in yard. It was large enough for my older daughter and dog to "explore" together, but not so big I couldn't sit on the porch and keep an eye on them. As far as homes I've VRBO'ed before this one was quite small, but was PERFECT in keeping the kiddo wrangled. The stand up shower was large. “This little plot of land is so special, it rained most of my stay but I didn’t mind one bit! Mountain rain is one of the best things on the planet. The host created a very comfortable, cozy space on the property and I am grateful to have had the pleasure. “We had a great stay at Brush Creek. Rob was a fantastic host and very informed on the surrounding area. He provided us with things to do in the area. The property itself is very quiet and serene, exactly what we were looking for in a cabin stay. We brought our dog and Rob was very nice and offered the pup treats! The cabin was clean and adorable. “The cabin was lovely. Had everything I needed. Clean. Bed was comfortable. It was cold so I enjoyed having the wood burning stove and the outdoor fire pit. Overall, it was great. The only negative (and it didn’t warrant taking away a star, just feedback for the property mgt company) was the trash situation. I’ve stayed at a number of vrbo’s in this area and this was the first one that required me to drive the trash to the local dump on the day of departure. There was some included direction on……
