Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The property had scaffolding in front of the building. The dust and noise was so bad that we unable to open our window. It was awful!

Awesome place, but lacking responsiveness

Room, bed, bathroom and shower are beautiful, new and clean. Excellent walkable location to so much of Madrid - and especially nice to be among all the stores and bars of gay neighborhood. We had luggage problems and were waiting for the airline to deliver them, but was hard to coordinate because there is no person/staff on site. It’s all self-service, and they were not very responsive on email. Note the dependence on an electronic key (aka a link on phone) worked without a hitch, until there was a challenge. When we hit the unclear check-out button the morning of leaving and were locked out prematurely from the hotel room, it took calling the emergency number several times with unhelpful calling service and 30 minutes for someone to help us and let us back into the hotel before full check out — at 9am in the morning. Nearly had us missing our train.
