I had a lovely stay at Courtyard by Marriott Madurai, what really stood out was the warm welcome from the front desk team. Alen, Pratik Shetty, Jinda, and Veer went out of their way to make me feel like a valued guest, from friendly greetings to helpful suggestions. The hotel itself is excellent, clean, well‑located, with a great breakfast spread, and round‑the‑clock service. Highly recommend this place,not just for the amenities, but for the genuine hospitality that the front desk team showed. PS: Not sure whether I got the reception people names right.

Location and infrastructure was good, service was excellent. However the restaurant Madurai Kitchen was disappointing. It was over crowded and garden chairs were used as dinner chairs.

A 3.75- 4 star property. Pros: food quality is good, and availability is there. Cons: rooms are dated, most staff only speak broken English, and service is hit or miss with communication and timeliness an issue. I’d encourage hotel to better train staff to make this a 4-star plus experience.
