We enjoyed our stay at the Regency Madurai very much. The staff was very pleasant and attended to all of our needs. The buffet had a good selection and the rooms were very comfortable. We would recommend this hotel.

Pleasantly surprised by this find. Very attentive staff, we also had dinner here and found it to be very good. Hotel staff in restaurant/ reception and house keeping were very responsive. We checked out at 6:30 am and reception staff got breakfast boxes ready for us. Overall will recommend this for anyone

The rooms were extremely luxurious and the staff was very attentive. The included breakfast buffet was wonderful; we love traditional South Indian cuisine and the chef and staff are very good. The dinner buffet was also quite good.

We enjoyed the 2 nights and 3 days trip to Madurai. This hotel food was fantastic and an excellent very courteous staff in Front desk, travel desk and in dining hall. They went beyond call of duty and served additional specific dish in buffet dinner. I would strongly recommend this property.

Excellent hotel. Restaurant options for all meals are excellent. We needed a takeaway lunch option for us. They prepared it for us. The one issue that didn’t work well for me was to get transportion out of the hotel. Taxis in Madurai se non-existent. Auto-rickshaws seem to be the main mode of transport for tourists like me. Day 1, I had trouble finding someone at the door to get me an auto-rickshaw. It took 10 mins before someone could even get started to look. Day 2 when I went to the door, no one there would go out to get an auto. So off I went on my own to go find an auto for transportation. Hotel needs to do more for guests needing a simple way to get around
