You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

High Calling

High Calling is the lower level of a new home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation.

Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided.

Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full and one twin bed face mountain views. A sitting area with a television and games, a kitchenette and coffee station are provided, along with snacks and drinks.
The space
A full size refrigerator, small air fryer/convection oven, microwave, toaster, and blender are available. There is no regular size oven or cooktop.

A stackable washer and dryer will bring the convenience of home.

Central A/C (you probably won’t need it) and heating are available, along with satellite WiFi.
Note: Because of the mountain location,
Wi-Fi is basic, not optimal for streaming.

  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

This mountain retreat apartment was perfection!! So many details in this 2 bedroom apartment made it an absolute joy to stay here. They have thought of everything you might need and more!! It was clean and well stocked! Beautifully decorated that made you feel so welcomed! I would love to stay here again. The porch view will be even more beautiful when the leaves turn. Communication with owners was seamless!! A 10 star stay!!!! Thank you.

This basement apartment combines lovely wooded views with convenient location and amenities. The hosts have imbued the space with charm and hospitality! It is very clean, family friendly, and easy to access. I would stay there again!

Details of the property were as expected from the online review. The rooms were decorated for the season and everything was neat and tidy. We had just what we needed for a quick trip to the mountains.

Great efficiency apartment

The place was amazing and had literally everything little thing we needed. Even nice straw like coffee pods, sodas and some granola bars. Fantastic proximity to the ski slopes but be warned of steep roads everywhere! Would definitely suggest this location. Beds were comfy and it was nice to do a load of wash after night skiing.

This basement apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. The communication with the host was prompt and helpful. The sound machines in the bedrooms were somewhat helpful in blocking out the sounds of the hosts above.

A great property. Great porch, bedrooms were so nice. One of the cleanest properties I’ve ever rented. Super details in the property and everything was well taken care of. Very nice place for a couple of small family.
