PLEASE NOTE…. the property is located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, just outside of Smoky Mountain National Park, and you may see bear, elk or other wildlife on or near the property. Keep pets on a leash at all times, lock your vehicles during your stay, and never leave food outside over night. PLEASE NOTE: The cabin is located up a 2-mile gravel mountain road and gravel driveway. The road and driveway are maintained and accessible via 2-wheel drive vehicles most of the time (Spring / Summer / Fall). However, they are typical of such roads in Western North Carolina and do have bumpy, steep and curvy portions. If you are not familiar with driving in the mountains, or uncomfortable driving on gravel mountain roads, an AWD/4WD vehicle is recommended. A 4-wheel, or all-wheel drive vehicle is STRONGLY recommended during winter months and REQUIRED during times of snow and inclement weather.
