"The hotel is in an excellent location for walking to just about anything in downtown San Antonio. You can park and walk to the Alamo, Riverwalk, and even the historic market square. The hotel is dated but very clean. I will definitely return to the Menger when I am in San Antonio."

"The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, but charges $7 per day and parking is $60 per day. The beds were quite comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner smelled pleasant. Walking distance to a lot of different things such as the Alamo, Old Historic Market, and more. "

"Hot when the AC doesn’t work. Loud at night with old windows. Fire alarm went off…. Not sure they could do much about that. Otherwise it was just an older property which isn’t a nock but is good to know."

"Hands down a great luxury hotel. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Everyone that you talk to is determined to make your stay as perfect as possible. The room was in perfect condition. Comfortable enough to let our 1 year old walk around. We will definitely be returning."

"The rooms were clean. The queen beds were small. The hotel rooms are kind of old and the carpet smells. The outside grounds were dirty, there was trash on the grounds. The landscaping was not kept nice."
