"Great place to stay on our way thru town. Clean, pleasant and comfortable. Meeting just what we needed. The upgrades to this older motel, made for a very pleasant stay and beds quite comfortable. Inspite of a busy highway it was surprisingly quiet even with the sliding glass door cracked open. Plus there is a beautiful country setting and side road I could walk my dog along in the morning. (As well as playground and picnic area). Thanks to the owners for making this a pet friendly place to stay at an affordable price. Some fine tuning for housekeeping needed. Glass doors were quickly washed leaving them with streaks and glass lamps, the same. But not gross or anything - a little detail that would make a big difference. I must say how the little kitchen area with sink was extremely handy. Also be sure to come prepared for possible stairs...we did come prepared as it is mentioned on the website, and discovered maybe better at our age to ask for ground level. But I really liked the upper view and to me it was worth it. 😁"

"Staff was very accomodating, they helped us get a room on the main floor making it easier on my elderly parent who has trouble with stairs. Beds were comfortable and clean, Looks like they have updated the bathrooms and some amenities. The only complaint I have is the breakfast was sparce with not a lot of choices. No hot food, no fruit, only toast and 2 kinds of cereal available. If you are celiac you only had yogurt that you could eat. I did choose this hotel because it offered breakfast so I was disappointed with the choices."

"I always stay at this location with my family. I can always expect to clean room and excellent parking. We like the continental breakfast. It is quick and easy before we get back on the road to Vancouver or home to Calgary. Thank you to all the staff who worked hard at this hotel."
