「The host was very responsive and helpful! Beds were super comfy and the bedroom air conditioners were great. My husband said that the freezer in the kitchen was the best freezer ever. The outside house cat (named Sal for the little bit of white hair she has on her back that looks like someone sprinkled her with salt) is so sweet, we all wanted to take her home with us. The palapa at the water was amazing! And all the kayaks and paddle board were a nice treat to use!」

「Buena vista is about 30 minutes from bacalar town so not an ideal location. The house is remote and in the jungle , very rough terrain getting in there Read all the small print , the house is only enclosed from the elements in the 2 bedrooms , the rest ( which is essentially just a tiny outdoor kitchen , no living room at all ) is totally open to the elements and the MOSQUITOES!!! We arrived to check in and were eaten alive in 5 minutes. There were also many wasps , a few in the bedroom. We left...
