「My highlight was meeting the owner and his wife. So knowledgeable about many things. It was a delight to talk to them and learn about the culture. This is a small hotel but it was really well kept up and very clean. The bathroom was great - a kitchen to make coffee and tea and a small breakfast if you wanted it. 「Wunderschönes Haus abseits vom Tourismus-Trubel. Trotzdem sind alle Lebensnotwendigen Dinge problemlos zu Fuß oder gegeben falls in wenigen Minuten mit den supergünstigen Tucktuck´s zu erreichen. 「One of the worst hospitality service ever. Won't get a towel, bedsheet or toiletries. No cleanliness and smelly dusty rooms. No room service. Swimming pool with decayed leaves and house full of mosquitoes. Broken room locks and the bonus is you won't get water in toilet. Needless to say a poor management by owner and totally irresponsible behaviour. Please don't waste your money by looking at beautiful pics of the villa. Save your money for better stay. Even worst hotels will give better...

「This property is a scam. I booked the reservation through Expedia and then Expedia/Vrbo. I didn't get the checkin instructions from the host. I called the host and no response. I called another phone number shared through VRBO and upon calling the person answered told me that the location is under construction. The Owner cannot be contacted. I went to the location and no one was there. So this is a big scam」

"Beautiful hotel, very centrally located and right next to the ocean. Our room was nice and spacious and clean. Staff and management were very nice and helpful all around. Eg 1: I had hurt my ankle the previous day, and over our 2 day stay, they assisted my wife in getting ice for my leg. Eg 2: We also needed a screwdriver to remove the battery from a toy we bought (for plane travel), and the staff went out of their way to help out with it (laughing at us). The breakfast and dinner buffet had great food, and the performer at the dinner buffet also played our song requests! Great place overall, would definitely recommend. "

"This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel, I basically like this hotel because I feel it new, model, clean. I recommend to all my colleague who need to go to Sri Lanka. However, this time, I feel a bit disappointed, the room wasn’t really clean, - first day when I check-in, I find there have a bottle of water had been drunk half. - I feel the carpet had something to bite - sometime, the room service did not throw the rubbish even it was full - room service will laid part of the quilt on the carpet It make me a bit disappointed."
