“This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated.
The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome.
We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!”

“We stayed for 1 night only in early October. The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and tidy, as was the lounge area. There was ample parking in the basement area. The walk to the township of Paihia was along the sea-shore and was very pleasant, and close to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to Russell.”

“The check in was very quick and we were shown personally to our lovely room which we had booked with a balcony. The owner was so kind and friendly and always on hand should you need anything.
The room was big and clean and the location perfect. The kitchen was a lovely bonus. The shower was powerful. The bed was so comfortable and had the best night sleep. Wish we could have stayed longer, it really is the most wonderful area located 1 minute from the beach and all the lovely shops and……

Had no issues, close to the beach not a far walk from the wharf. Staff were lovely and the pool and spa pool were nice to relax in.
Cheaper than most of the other motels so you dont feel ripped off.

“We had our own little cabin (Unit #8). Open floor plan for kitchen, dining, bed. Seating on a nice little deck. Shower looks tired, but hot water showed up quickly and I had a good shower. Our only issue was that there were ants in the kitchen. The owner/manager said he would take care of it when we went out for dinner, and when we came back, no more ant issue.”
