Isla Holbox Main Square Hotels

"We had a wonderful 4 night stay! The travel time to the island was very lengthy when you take into consideration your flight, transportation from the airport to the Holbox ferry (took us approx 2.5 hours) and then the ferry ride itself (about 20 minutes). It ended up being around a 14 hour travel day for us by air, shuttle, ferry and side by side! So very worth it. The villas were adorable, the only issue with us was our villa was upstairs and the stairs were difficult for my older mother (no elevators in resort). The staff was amazing, room was impeccably clean, food was fantastic and the entire villa was well groomed daily. Walking distance to the beach and downtown was doable, side by side taxis were available within minutes to take you into town if you did not want to walk in the heat. I would give 5 stars and would highly recommend to anyone!"

"We loved our stay here. Spacious rooms,,steps from down town, beach front. Bike rental and cafe right next door. Good choice of restaurants. Helpful,staff."

"Location was great! Room was very clean as well as pool. Staff were always friendly and ready to help. Only thing that could be improved is more water filters around the hotel as a few times it would be empty fast but staff were very good at refilling it as soon as we told them. Thanks so much for the stay!"

"The breakfast was very good. Otherwise, the photos do not do it justice as it smells like a sewer in most parts of the property due to broken pipes, and the beach is non-existent, the water is brown and there is a fence, no beach. Very deceiving. This might be a Holbox issue but either way it does not look anything like this in the photo."

"Lovely stay! Clean room, great staff, beach view was great. Bar had a good selection of cocktails but could have more wine variety. No lift, only stairs so tricky with luggage but not impossible. "
