「Manitou Lodge is gorgeous! The lodge itself is amazing: rustic vibe with elk skins, lots of oversized furniture, games, books and big pillows. It would be perfect for a special occasion.If you are interested in the tent sites, number 3, 6, 7, and 9 are the largest and nicest in my opinion.I stayed at the Outback cabin which is the smallest cabin available. 「The property is well maintained and very cozy inside. Comfortable beds and couches and a fully stocked kitchen if needed. It is well located to downtown and to the hiking and beach areas which made it a great location. The outside view is fantastic and so relaxing to sit outside by the river. No bugs which made it even better. I would highly recommend this cozy cabin if you’re in the area. 」

「 The grounds offered a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. I loved gazing out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca, watching container ships glide past alongside sea lions, eagles, and a variety of other birds I couldn’t even name. The cabin was spotless and equipped with everything I needed. Hosts were immediate responsive yet not bothering. Loved the deck and spent hours watching the waves roll in and out. We would love to return........ Thank you for a great stay 」

「This place was amazing. The inside of the house, even though it was small, it had everything I needed and was super & cozy. The bed was so comfortable, I slept so well especially with the window open I could hear the river. The outside area was a huge bonus! The outside living room with the fireplace & tv was a nice spot to chill. There is trail to the river and sitting spot to drink my coffee. And of course the jacuzzi was great to relax in & look at the stars. I really enjoyed staying here....

「Secluded, serene, perfect.」

「Quiet, peaceful stay right on the river (but no access to the river). It was the perfect place for exploring this side of Olympic NP. We loved sitting on the back deck and watching the river in the evenings. Communication with owner was excellent. Had everything we needed to cook meals and do laundry.」

「Great for two people.」

「It was a perfect location to stay. Such a cozy cabin but the best part was the secluded outdoors in the forest! The perfect ‘glamping’ experience for my family (two under two). Great location, easy to visit the three beaches and a great spot for coffee and lunch nearby. Would definitely stay again if we lived closer!」

"The soundproofing is horrible, you can hear people snoring next door. The bed and sheets are not that clean also there are people’s trash left from last customer. At least the view is pretty good and there are heater and hot shower."

"It was beautiful right next to the beach. Front desk staff were super nice! The only thing I have to complain about is the housekeeping. It was around 9:30AM when the housekeeper knocked and scanned her card without waiting for a response from us. She tried to come in and I screamed “ someone’s still in here” and she left. I didn’t care about it the first time but she came AGAIN in half an hour or so and tried to come in again. It would been a pleasant stay if the housekeeper was well managed and let them know which rooms are empty and not. Overall it was a good experience as for the location. "
