We loved our stay and our time in Makarora. It was spacious, with good kitchen facilities, BBQ, and comfy bed, lovely outdoor deck, aircon and fire box to choose from. Lots of Kiwi cottage charm. The communication with the hosts worked just fine, and I could easily check in after 4 pm. I was greeted with some self picked flowers in the cottage which was a very lovely gesture.
