Bright and modern apartment in the traditional village of Kavrochori, which is a suburb of Heraklion. The apartment has one big room with a king-size bed, and the living room can accommodate 2 more people.
A luxurious modern bathroom is available.
The terrace overlooks the big green garden full of trees and the rocky mountain.
The flat is extremely close to public transport, with 7 buses daily to the shopping center of Heraklion and 7 minutes away by car from the beautiful beach Amoudara.

Tolle Wohnung, keine Blicke

Die Wohnung hatte einen hohen Standard, aber das Haus ist sehr hellhörig. Auf der Terrasse kann man nicht frühstücken, weil viele Katzen das Essen stören. Der Bick in die Umgebung fehlte uns. Schade.

Beautiful Holiday House

Gorgeous clean property with beautiful gardens. The perfect place to relax in a quiet neighbourhood. The location just outside of Heraklion is a great location to explore all of Crete from and return to the friendly hosts bearing goodies from the garden and fruit trees!

Si l'adresse est difficile à comprendre , l'accueil et l'appartement sont irréprochables. Cependant la vue est limitée sur la montagne ,le village est proche d'une petite ville côtière sans grand intérêt mais pratique pour les courses . Seul vrai bémol , les chiens qui aboient la nuit, impossible de garder les fenêtres ouvertes , heureusement qu'il y a la clim . Dommage!

Un super appartement très sympa calme. Les parents de Stefanos super sympathiques, ils sont venus nous chercher à l église de Kavrochori, car nous n'avions pas d'adresse précise. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

A Gorgeous Getaway

We had such a good stay at the villa! G&V were the most hospitable hosts and helped us navigate the bus system, made recommendations about things to do and see and were so kind and generous with little extras that made us feel so welcome! They went above and beyond! The space was lovely and cool even in the warmest part of the summer and had plenty of room to stretch out. The grounds were so beautiful, settled into the hills among olive and citrus groves, and we loved having coffee and evening drinks on the patio. The apartment was equipped everything we needed for a long term stay, and had solid Wifi connectivity for two of us to be able to teach synchronously over Zoom. I would definitely recommend a car; the apartment is on a bus line, but the number of trips into neighboring (about 3k/2mi) Gazi are about 4 per day. It's walkable into Gazi and the beaches of Amoudara (5k/3mi) and a bus ride from there into Heraklion proper, but in the heat of the summer it's a loooong, dusty way back up the hill with few sidewalks from Gazi. We took advantage of being off the beaten path and enjoyed the lovely surroundings and people (especially the taverna) in the village of Kavrochori, just a five minute walk up the hill from the flat.
