"It was a wonderful day. The hosting family are fantastic. The house is incredibly located to all the natural visitation sites. I woke up one morning and walked down to the Glenfinnan viaduct approximately 1/2 mile do it first light and the bridge belongs to you and the red stag that showed up as I was approaching the bridge two of them actually the hotel next to the home has an amazing catering staff book a reservation. "This Hotel was amazing. On arrival the check in staff was lovely and polite, the rooms looked a bit tired and small but the view was fantastic. The bar was well stocked with great service. The restaurant was brilliant, good menu and amazing food. Breakfast was equally as good. Great selection and great service."

"Very convenient for us in the heart of Maillag, the food at the pub was great, room clean and comfortable, we had to leave very early in the morning to get on the first ferry to Skye and the staff was very attentive to make sure that we had what we liked for our breakfast/lunch to take away with us! They gave us multiple choices and packed it carefully for us leaving it in a refrigerator close to our room so it was effortlessly easy to grab in the morning. We truly loved the place and had an amazing time! I wish we had one more night! Thank you all at Chlachain inn, I’d love to come back one day!"

"The room is clean but small. We could smell the coffee from our room when breakfast begins at 7pm. There is no refrigerator in our room, which is fine for us, as it is not hot summer yet. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant downstairs is terrific - we had the dinner and every dish was very well prepared, e.g. the authentic Scottish Grille, the black tempura pudding. The view in front of the dining room is amazing - either on light rainy day or blue sunny sky. Only wish the parking lot is bigger and the room is more updated."
