Spacious Home, On Shuttle Route, Cozy Fireplace, Walk to Rink & Bowling Alley

This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom condo is located in the ideal friendly family spot! Just 100 yards from the Mammoth Creek park, you can fish the creek, use the playground or picnic at the tables or large grassy area or enjoy the Mammoth Community Rec Zone or LA Kings Ice that offers a host of activities and year-round recreation opportunities. Just a short walk across the street and you are at Vons, shops, restaurants, and the movie theatre! The Chateau Blanc complex also offers a large outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. Everything you need to keep your little ones entertained. Inside the unit features floor to ceiling windows, wood-burning stove and vaulted ceilings. The full kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare family meals. The living room features a comfortable large sectional and large flat screen TV with DVD player, complimentary WiFi, and unobstructed views of the Sherwin mountains. The upper deck also offers a place to soak up the mountain views, enjoy the outdoor seating. The master bedroom has a queen bed. There is a home office space with workspace so you can work/school remotely. The second bedroom on the lower level has a queen bed with Smart TV, with the third bedroom featuring three twin beds, Smart TV. This condo sleeps a maximum of 7 people and comes with 2 outdoor parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. There are no stairs to this unit, two levels inside, and no smoking or pets are permitted. The Mammoth Rec Zone offers EV charging stations, and access to walking / biking paths around town. The red line shuttle runs on Chateau Road offering free shuttle access around town. Very pleasant.

The living area is great for a group of 7 with an excellent fireplace, well equipped kitchen and a nook for reading or playing cards. We were very comfortable. Mattresses were great and the place very clean. Our only gripe is that we ran out of basic amenities like toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, fire starters, matches…. There was certainly not enough supplied for a group of 6 for 5 nights.

I liked the place if you are a yuppie maybe you wouldn’t like the place - The ONLY thing I didn’t love was the beds were not $3000 mattresses they were a little stiff for me but if it was my place Amazon has $300 memory foam gel ones that rival the $5K beds

INFESTED WITH BED BUGS

Overall would have been a fine stay, however this unit is infested with bed bugs. VRBO conveniently does not allow me to attach photos, but we have many photos and pictures of bed bug bites. It seems this is a recurring problem since a renter in January 2021 noted bed bugs in the same unit/same bed. This unit probably does not get properly cleaned and who knows if it has been chronically infested with bed bugs since last year. Definitely would not rent and risk it.

Lovely home with amenities

I and a group of friends stayed here for a long ski weekend and had a lovely time. The space is well furnished and spacious and the wood burning stove in the living room was such a bonus. * There is a heater in the entryway to keep your boots from being frozen and to help them dry. * Several sleds were provided for some local entertainment * Close to the bus lines that will take you to the mountain

We love that the location was an end unit with a nice view of the park and the mountains. It was quiet and peaceful. The location is very close to Vons and other retail shops which is such a plus. Parking was perfect for two SUVs. Rooms were ample for 8. TV/Cable reception was great. Furnitures need to be updated for sure. The only modern parts of the house were the TV, toaster and microwave. Dinnerware and cooking utensils are good. BIG CON: The queen bed mattress on the first level room is definitely compromised. One member of our party slept on it and immediately got bug bites on her chest and shoulder! We have photo proof if the establishment requires it. This is something that needs to be addressed urgently. Hopefully this situation gets resolved the soonest as this is not how our family expected to end the trip with at all.

Cozy Place

The place is dated but exactly as described and in the photos. The oven didn't work but we were informed of this ahead of time. The heaters in the living room also didn't work but someone came to look at it soon after we called. We were a family of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) and there were enough beds for everyone. All in all very cozy place and appropriately priced.

Condo easily slept 8 people and had all of the amenities listed. The location was good. We had 2 kids and they liked the new park. It could use a deep cleaning. Tub/shower flooring and carpet look dirty.

was our second time to stay at this location. Perfect for our family. Will come back again. Trails 5 min away. Everything you need in walking distance. Kids can head to the park or pool while I go biking and mom relaxes on the balcony taking in the view.

Overall, the property is exactly as listed, a well maintained comfortable place for family and friends I really liked the large living room for everyone to relax and replay the days activities. It also helped to have the garage available to store snowboards and mountain bikes out of the way.

Spacious, comfy condo. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place for a reasonable price. The three bedroom, two story layout was a good fit for our party of five. The more quiet end unit in a large condo complex was a definite plus. Only constructive feedback would be to upgrade the mattresses..(very hard) and cookware...(old scratched up teflon sauce and fry pans). Otherwise, thumbs up all around.
