When it dumbs snow and the winds are howling stay inside, have a cup of hot chocolate or tea in the foyer or spacious lobby and enjoy gourmet food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the famous in house hotel bar and restaurant the “Whitebark”. The Monache is rightfully named after the local Mono Indian tribe facing one of the domes of the Long Valley Caldera(it can be seen from studio #234). It's one of the earth largest calderas and a signature view of Mammoth and Mono County.
