"Beachfront room 308. Lovely modern room, very clean and comfortable bed. Lovely large modern bathroom with great shower. The only complaint with the room is soundproofing…. You can hear the neighbors very very clearly… We had an early wake up call from their young child before 7am most mornings. So ear plugs are a must. This room was Atlantic side so there was a seaweed problem on the beach, however there were teams of people working tirelessly to clear it away. Didn’t detract too much from the enjoyment. It was very peaceful here. The main beach in the bay is VERY busy and almost impossible to get a sunbed as people put their towels very early in the morning… 🙄. We tried all restaurants except Picolo Mondo. All were pretty good. Stand outs for us was the à la cart Rainbow Room in the evening and Cocos in the evening. Both were excellent meals. There’s music/bands most evenings but it finishes quite early at 9.30pm. Then people tend to go the other Bar area which I found awful personally - karaoke, etc. Not island feeling at all, felt more like a socia club. Not our vibe, but a lot of people enjoyed it and it’s open till 1am, if you want to dance etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Very relaxing. Used the gym also, which was very well equipped, air conditioned and had water, towels and a shower."

"What an exquisite place!Sitting outside, beside the pool, watching the boats enter and exit the harbour, while we sipped on our coffee and tea was such a delight. The entire property is beautiful. Yorie thought of everything: chairs to sit on the beach, a cooler to pack food for any excursions, fully stocked kitchen, extra towels, and lots of little details to make our stay super.If we come back, we will definitely pick this place again."

"I loved this place! Location was fantastic. Short walk to a pretty beach and loads of great restaurants. Check out Indian summer - on the water, great Indian food and cocktails, that’s life - on the water amazing crispy duck and cocktails, and Me and You- adorable place on the water for coffee. Seabreeze is wonderful for coffee and breakfast wraps. My large balcony had a beautiful view of the harbor. The room was large and clean with a great little kitchen. Music from bars was loud but just one night and not for too long. Staff were lovely. Taxi and car rental nearby."

Wow!From our initial enquiry, booking the villa, arrival and departure, it was all been stress free thanks to exemplary communications. To have ready access to the owners and property managers is a real bonus. Answering queries or arranging transportation, they were always available.For the benefit of other readers looking for a special holiday home in Antigua, we can say the property detail listing accuracy is 100% accurate. We would like to emphasise the villa is very spacious and the 3 shower facilities are excellent, & so spacious you can fit a five a side football team in them!The villa is very well equipped and has everything you need for your stay, including a lovely welcome pack on arrival to help you settle in. Photographs never do justice, but only when you’re here in person and experience for yourself do you realise just how beautiful the setting is.Being located on the luxurious St James’s Club resort, you have access to their facilities, gym, tennis, pickleball & sailing & more, with the option to be ‘all inclusive’ you can dine at the cafes and restaurants - it’s great to have the flexibility.We have had the best time."

"What a wonderful stay! The cottages are steps from the beach (you wake up to the sound of the waves every morning) and picture perfect. The check-in process was seamless, and our host helped us with anything we needed for our stay. The room was clean and spacious, with lovely decor and amenities. "We had a lovely stay at Reggae Villa and the location was perfect overlooking Galleon Beach. We had a big crowd and they were happy there with lots of space. "

"This house is much bigger than it appears. The kitchen was well stocked and the house clean. Two of the rooms had split air units and all the rooms had ceiling fans so we were very comfortable. You definitely need to rent a jeep with the house because the last road/driveway to the house is extremely rough and you’ll need the jeep. The view from the house is breathtakingly beautiful. The drive from the airport is about 45-60 minutes. The house had several water toys/snorkeling gear and a home gym. If you are expecting an American-style hotel this house is not this level, but for the Caribbean it was really nice. Mike the host is slow to respond but eventually answers all your questions. Once we stared communicating with his wife she responded quickly. "
