“We chose this location as we knew it would be a bit quirky, and it definitely delivered on this. The check in time was chaotic, with only one person and a short time period to arrive, lots of campers without reservations were queueing up to be booked in. Our motel unit had all the amenities we needed, with a full kitchen. The shower was hot, with good water pressure, all good as long as you aren't too tall. The decor was a slice of the Swiss Alps :-) We could park right outside our unit and it……

“It's an ok choice in Te Anau but can be noisy (as the motel units are facing out front). The kitchen area is nice but it's weird that no cooking tools are provided (however, the receptionist was so kind to lend us a pot without cost).”
