“I traveled as a single woman. The hotel is ok overall and very convenient. Most staff do not speak English but will use a translator. The restaurant is mediocre but also very convenient. The issue I had was the rooms floor was covered in an oily substance. I didn’t notice until after my bag and a few other items came into contact with it. It left a brownish oily stain on my items that came into contact with it. Possibly a cleaning agent that wasn’t rinsed well? You could see my foot prints……

“The lodge is located just 20 minutes boat ride from the Manaus airport, convenient yet not feel much staying in the jungle. The activites provided by the lodge are done within the area of 10 minutes boat ride, so staying three days will be enough to try all activities. ”

“O quarto os móveis um monte de coisa quebrada velha suja lençol de cama sujo, banheiro sujo, porta quebrada chão encardido, cama cheirando com que uma pessoa tivesse dormido lá, não foi trocada.a própria funcionária disse que muitas vezes não trocam os lençóis. Privada encardida, local não é seguro.”

“Room was clean and breakfast was wonderful. But the elevators did not work well and the reception area was always overcrowded. There were also no amenities like a little snack and general amenities like pain medication and shaving cream to buy easily. Coffee in the room would be nice.”

“The property is self-check in. The host however, did not send the code in a timely fashion. The kitchen had very few utensils. It would have been miserable trying to cook there. The room was very basic. The bathroom is shared but lacked sufficient space to even hang a towel. The bed was not a proper mattress. It was just some relatively thin padding on top of a wooden base. It was uncomfortable.”

“Zimmer mit Aussicht war in Ordnung, Klimaanlage hat ziemlich lang gebraucht, bis sie die richtige Temperatur (erreicht) hat, Abdeckung von Fach neben der Klimaanlage mangelhaft verarbeitet, Abdeckung ist regelmäßig heruntergekommen, so dass warme Luft ins Zimmer geströmt ist. Fenster nicht wirklich dicht (Hitze + Geräusche von außen deutlich wahrnehmbar, als ob es gar kein Fenster gab, besonders wenn am Strand unten Party war). Bad in Ordnung, etwas klein für 4 Personen. Schränke / Möbel etwas……

“A special hotel with elegant and interesting details. Great location, excellent staffs, fantastic restaurant and reasonable pricing...so lucky we changed our plan the last minute that we decide to stay with Villa Amazonia in Manaus to refresh up after leaving the jungle. The hotel is an oasis and a hidden gem. Minors: wifi a little bit slow.”

“Good breakfast, easy to shop, and clean room. But some noise in the morning as close to the main way.”

“No information about being two different rentals in one place: one being a hotel and the other one a flat owned privately property. No parking available and felt "discriminated" by not being able to "enjoy" the place. The whole structure needs renovation urgently. Although it seems like there is some renovation going on everywhere it should have been better for the price. Staff were great! The room we stayed was moldy and smelling.”

“The food at the hotel's restaurant is very poor and the elevator is not enough for whom is living in upstairs. It is not that good compared with the price. The cleaning staff is doing very bad service.”
