"The motel may look a big aged but trust the owner is doing the best to keep up with the standard and welcome the guests. We had two days stay in the two bedroom unit, it was well equipped with the comfy furniture in the lounge, big fridge in the kitchen, accessible bathroom. enough beds to accommodate two families or family with adult children, handy beach access for the morning/evening walks. we certainly enjoyed our stay in the motel, will stay again when we are in the area next time too."

Absolutely Awesome Beach Front Rural Retreat.

"Loved our trip away. The batch was great, great use of space, fully equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and beyond. Even had bug spay and sunblock which is a real bonus. Only thing which would be better is a bigger fridge which I know they are already aware about as it's in other reviews. We brought chilly bins to make up the extra room but ice only lasts for so long. Beach access was great, the fact it had 2 bathrooms was excellent. We stayed for 4 x nights 2 x adult and 1 x child. I would seriously look at booking this again in the future."

The only thing that could be improved is the condition of the property, as it could do with some upgrades and modernisation. "The property grounds are very lovely, spacious, wonderful trees and green space, plenty of parking, and wonderful views and access to the lake. We used the tennis court, ping pong table, pool, and hot tub during our stay, and they were all great. The pool is not heated, so the water was too cold for our family, but I’m certain it would be very welcoming during the warmer summer months. The hot tub was nice, although some of our group thought it would be nice if it were hotter. The on-site restaurant was excellent. The staff in reception were always friendly and responsive. Our family of five stayed in a three bedroom accommodation, and it had the perfect amount of space. We arrived late afternoon, and check-in was quick and smooth. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. There were plenty of extra outlets for charging everyone’s phones. There was plenty of kitchenware and fridge space although we didn’t really use any of it this stay. We did encounter some ants on the kitchen counter and dining table even though we didn’t have any food in the place (we ate all of our meals at local restaurants and did not bring back any leftovers/takeaway), but ants can happen anywhere, anytime so we did not get worked up over it. The place was otherwise clean and cozy. If we return to the area, we would happily stay here again."
