Wir hatten anscheinend zu hohe Erwartungen- und sind nach zwei Tagen in ein anderes Hotel gezogen. Vorab muss man sagen, das Personal war toll - sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Auch das Frühstück war absolut in Ordnung - jedoch konnte uns "der Rest" irgendwie nicht zufriedenstellen: Wir hatten einen Bungalow gebucht. Bedingt dadurch, dass man mit den Autos zu den Bungalows fahren durfte (was die anderen Bungalowgäste ausgiebig genutzt haben) und noch dazu immer viele Leute auf dem Hotelgelände unterwegs waren (und die danebenliegenede Baustelle - da kann das Hotel aber nichts dafür) war die Geräuschkulisse leider nicht zumutbar. Uns hat auch das Tageslicht gefehlt - zwar waren Fenster vorhanden, da diese aber direkt auf besagten Weg gingen, konnten wir die Vorhänge nie aufziehen ohne unsere Privatsphäre zu verlieren. Un dzu guter Letzt waren die Matratzen für mich zu hart ;-)

お腹を壊して、何度も薬を買いに行ってくれた。本当に親切。ミャンマー人は非常に親切。朝食はok。フロントは通るたびに立って挨拶。部屋は古いが、掃除はOK。水回りはイマイチ。ヒルが出た。気持ち悪かった。全体的にはOK。

Excellent Hotel and good service

Well maintained rooms, restaurant, swimming pool and cafe. It is located 900meters from the Palace walking track. The staff are very supportive and quick response guests. The breakfast has limited options but has quality. The staff prepares the breakfast as per guests' requirements. As a vegetarian, we got good vegetarian breakfast as per request. The staff supports in arranging logistics for side seeing.

Hotel situé dans la ville, disposant d'une piscine et d'un bar extérieur. Les chambres ne sont exceptionnelles mais convenables pour un court séjour. La piscine est vraiment un + vue les chaleurs.

A proximité de la gare

L'hôtel se situe dans un quartier en périphérie de la gare. On entend d'ailleurs les trains qui manifestent leur arrivée ou leur départ. Nous avions choisi les bungalows dans la cour intérieure, bien plus calmes que les chambres donnant sur la rue et donnant sur la piscine. Gros point négatif : la petite piscine est trustée par des locaux pour des cours de natation improvisée, soir et matin. Il ne nous a pas semblé que les participants prenaient la peine de prendre une douche...

Old hotel not well maintained

I had a room overlooking the street and the noise was just terrible (I had the impression that my bed was right there on the sidewalk, the cars are honking 24/7 in Myanmar), I was was unable to get a decent sleep. The room cleanliness was not good (I had to tell them a 17:00hrs that my room was not made-up!!!) The bathrooms are from the early seventies and were not maintained for the duration!!! The personnel was good and very friendly, that is the only thing going for the hotel.

Cheap hotel, but not worth your money.

Basic room for the price. Cleanliness was so-so -- there was hair in the bathroom and squished mosquitoes on the wall. I stayed two nights and both days there wasn't hot water for the shower. Service was very friendly and helpful, but I wouldn't stay here again due to the lack of cleanliness.

Hôtel plutot bien situé mais vieillissant

Hôtel plutot pas mal situé avec de bons restaurants aux atentours. Les chambres sont propres et le personnel agréable mais elles sont vraiment vieillissantes notamment la salle de bain. De plus la piscine est sympathique mais elle est à partager avec des enfants (pour des cours ?!) ce qui rompt le calme des lieux.

Fine hotel

We had a nice stay at the Kyi Tin Hotel. The bedroom was spacious, clean, and there was an "old" feeling to the place that we found quite pleasant. WiFi and cable TV were great for those interested. The down sides were the bathroom, which was nor nice nor very clean, and we unfortunately had a lot of mosquitoes in the room. The breakfast was fine, and the property had a nice oasis feel to it which was nice after a day in Mandalay. We didn't hop in the pool but it looked nice. We liked the location, with great street food close by. Heads up: there are a few hotels in the surroundings but it is a few miles from the more touristy places (the Hill, Shwenandaw...). Overall, we had a good time at the Kyi Tin, and Mandalay is a beautiful city! The building adjacent to the hotel was unfortunately undergoing construction works, which wasn't super pleasant in the morning, but I imagine this is temporary so do not fear! The kindness and quality of the staff seems to be a habit in Myanmar, but should still be underlined!

Conveniently Located Hotel.

Kyi Tin Hotel lies in the proximity of Mandalay Railway Station. If you do not mind a hotel with nightly cultural show, this is the hotel to stay. It has a reasonably-sized swimming pool if you feel like dipping in cool water after a hot day out exploring Mandalay. Hotel food is reasonably good, with delicious Mohinga. If you are hungry, there are few eateries around the hotel and a bakery just right across the street.
