The air conditioner is not cold, it will take about 6 hours to get cold. There is something wrong with the bed. There is a loud sound when getting in and out of bed.

當我入住時然後外出兩個小時後再回來，發覺保險箱的蓋着後備鎖匙的貼纸.跌下來，心想是不是有小偷進房，幸好我的腰包上了鎖，我怕是酒店的房務所為，可能真的取易不取難，我沒有任何損失，向前台投訴後，她們說cctv沒有人進我房間，但我受驚後，她們也給我房間Upgrade了，若來馬尼拉說生意，住這金融區也不錯，但旅遊的話，真的不建議，超塞車！可以住cobua區，LRT及MRT都可搭。不受交通困擾，酒店本身沒有問題，但洒店後街有很多酒吧，成条街都喺，亦有很多企街女郎叫你要唔要按摩，食店也很多，就是出入交通是很大問題。

I stayed at the hotel, solo, for about a week. The building itself, and staff are great! Had everything I needed, rooftop lounge has a beautiful view, and laundry service was so convenient. The area around the property can get really busy, and in the evening the area gets a little risque. Not dangerous at all, just risque. I would stay here again, easily!

Staff was generally very service minded and they were attentive to our needs. Rooms were in good condition, but are beginning to show signs of aging. A renovation would be a good idea. We were most disappointed with the hotel’s, food area. The food being served was well prepared and each day there was a different variety of foods to select from. The issue was not with the food itself, but rather with the fact that there is a cockroach infestation in the dining area. Two days in a row this was observed. The first day the bug was on the floor and a waiter attempted to discreetly step on it and dispose of it. However, on the second day, when trying to get a piece of cheese, a cockroach came out from under the cheese. This was reported to the staff. They apologized for this, and ultimately refunded me for only 1 day’s breakfast. They told me that they do have pest control, but if this is true the job being done is poor. Worse yet, not only do bugs breed germs, but now they are carrying pesticides onto the food. I am not certain that the staff appreciated enough the potential danger imposed on their guests. As I said though they were apologetic. We have not frequented the dining area since this occurrence, which is a big inconvenience. In the future, this experience would cause me not to consider staying at the City Garden Hotel.

I loved everything except the constant humming of something that sounds like a compressor which goes on every minute without fail. Outside area is crowded which is understandable with the hotel in the middle of downtown Makati

City Garden Hotel Makati has good value for your money. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and attentive. One of the bellhops went beyond what was expected. We were transferring to our next hotel, which was the next block up the street. I was about to call a ride share service and the bellhop stated he would just bring all our bags there for us. I was quite impressed and appreciative for his kindness. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber trotzdem sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Umfeld etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig mit vielen Ladybars und Prostiuierten. Aber hey - das ist Makati. Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptstraße was den Vorteil hat, dass die Verkehrsanbindung hervorragend ist, aber auch dass ab 6:00 morgens reger Verkehr herrscht. The are friendly, housekeeping great service. The only thing is lack of salespeople, the front don’t explain or sales there’s hotel products, the restaurant, pool, health club. Nor the room service.the front office staff lack care. Make the guest feel at home. I comeback twice. They treated as clients with calling your name nor how s your day. The breakfast service needs the foods and juices are fully prepared. I stayed twice in the hotel. I noticed some food in buffet are empty. I call the attention of the servers the foods and juice are emptied. There were three staffs busy finding the Room number and greeting the guest but they ignored the buffet area. Lack of awareness. Other that issue. The hotel is great in cleanliness, walkable, transportation and convenience to restaurants and grocery and shops
