We were really looking forward to our stay here and assumed everything was set. However, when we got to the property around 8 PM, the front desk informed us that our host, Marianne, had not sent them the required endorsement to allow us to stay, so they prevented us from checking in. We tried calling and messaging Marianne and Jarre multiple times through the emergency line they had provided us, but no one answered, so we had to wait in the lobby for another 1.5 hours. After several attempts, we finally got through to Marianne, who told us we were supposed to reply to an email with copies of our IDs, which we had never received, even upon double-checking our email inboxes. She had sent one email some weeks prior that the front desk had received that listed only one member of our group followed by “+4 guests”, but the front desk stated it was insufficient and that we still could not enter the property unless our host provided all of our names. After messaging her all of our names, Marianne then forwarded it to the front desk, who finally permitted initiation of our check-in process, approximately 2 hours after arriving to the property.
The unit itself was comfortable with strong AC and a second toilet. However, only 2 pairs of slippers were provided for 5 guests, and there were no hand towels or paper towels, just 5 bath towels in total, so we had to buy our own.
While the space was decent, the check-in process was stressful and disorganized. We would not stay here again.
