A Great Lake Experience!
What fun it was to stay at On the Rocks! Loved being right on the upper deck as boats go by(slowly- it's a "no wake" zone)- endlessly entertaining, as was the wildlife - otters, fox, ducks, deer. The main areas are attractive and very roomy and clean. Kitchen is very well equipped; AC worked well especially in the main rooms. Owner - and Vacasa - were very helpful and responsive.

Great views and setting
Very nicely decorated property with fantastic views out the windows. This property is not huge, but has enough space to enjoy the north woods and spend time together. House is at the VERY end of the road (past the No Trespassing signs), so it is a pretty quiet setting. The views from the deck and windows is great because you can see the channel and the lake. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, and the bathrooms were equipped with towels, and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap). The only reason that I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the WIFI wasn’t working when we were there. Unfortunately I had some unexpected work things come up that I needed to deal with and the WIFI wasn’t working. The sellers and Vacasa was great about trying to get people there to fix it, but unfortunately it wasn’t fixed when we left. We made it thru, but it would have been so much easier if the WIFI had been working for us. Swimming is relatively shallow near the shore, which was great for our 5 year old. He also really enjoyed waiving at and talking to the boats that were passing thru the channel! Overall a really nice family memory.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay at On the Rocks. The location is beautiful and we saw so many things from the house. We have a video of a large black bear swimming across the channel, eagles literally flew right by the windows, and the fishing at dusk is great right from the house. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen. The size was great for our family and visitors. We have 2 sons and we other visitors throughout the week. It is a little difficult to find. You need to keep going even past a couple of no trespassing signs.
