“Driveway is a little intimidating, but going slow is the key. The cabin is lovely and comfortable. Everything you need is there except a microwave, I’m not a big fan, so OK with me. Kitchen is well stocked with spices, silverware and dishes. My biggest compliment is that I didn’t want to leave! Could have stayed weeks, once I got used to be unconnected. Great place! ”

“Three couples looking for a chance have a reunion and a to catch up in person. Cozy loving room, plenty of space in kitchen. We enjoyed the spectacular views, a walk down the road to the pond (and up again!) and some local sightseeing. Carl was very easy to touch base with and it was obvious he and his family have a beloved home here at Peace on the Mountains! Thank you for sharing it and providing all the basic necessities - we just provided the food and the company.”

“we had a great relaxing weekend. the place is very private and had a nice fire pit. One thing to note is there is no oven if you plan to cook. It has a small toaster oven but that didn't quite work for the Ham we brought. Otherwise we enjoyed our weekend and will come back.”

“Great little place. Very homey. Snow storm blew in and dumped 6 inches of snow overnight. There was a shovel and salt accessible for us that morning to get to the vehicle. Great stay.”

“My dad and I had a pleasant time staying at this cabin. It was perfectly furnished to make your stay pleasant. The attention to detail and cleanliness was incredible. The location was perfect for us to go to the memorial and other sightseeing we did. Would highly recommend to stay here! The owners were very friendly and pleasant to work with and made the experience even better.”
