"Parking was difficult"

"The property itself was very nice and extremely clean, and the house had everything we needed. It’s also important to note that no English is spoken on site.However, our stay was significantly disrupted by continuous construction at the neighbouring property. We arrived on Good Friday, and by 8am on Easter Saturday we were woken by loud digging, machinery and heavy equipment. This continued for long periods throughout the entire week starting early morning and continuing well into the afternoon.Although the owner apologised when we raised the issue, the construction had clearly begun before our arrival. We were not given any advance notice or the opportunity to reconsider or rebook, which would have been essential information when choosing a holiday property. Instead, we found ourselves spending our holiday next to an active building site, which had a major impact on our ability to relax and enjoy our stay."

"We had a great stay in Sarlat. Sophie was very helpful and anything that was not working was quickly fixed. The pool is amazing and it is very easy to reach the centre. The accommodation is slightly rustic but still comfortable. "

"Charming stay in converted attic with delightful view of ancient town of Sarlat. Property owner used inexpensive materials in renovation. Would have been a bit nicer if quality of appliances, decor had been of a higher quality. But the view alone was worth the price of room."
