"We have been staying in Manta Rota over many years and this is by far the nicest villa we've stayed in. It's design brings the outsuide inside which is lovely. A couple of sunloungers outside next to the pool would be nice. Also, another review mention a dog barking, This is very common in Portugal and rest assured the dog did not bark at night."

"The apartment was perfect for our 2 months stay and had everything we needed. In particular we enjoyed the morning sun and the pretty view from the deck and the private sun roof, the spacious closets in the bedrooms, the efficient heating on those colder days. Heidi, our host, was super nice and helpful and available anytime to address a few smaller issues. We can definitely recommend staying with Heidi - and we are already considering to return next spring! Thank you Heidi!"

"Firstly, it’s an older building and that adds to the charm, so don’t expect an ultra modern room. The young lady on reception was outstanding, she couldn’t be more helpful when I wanted to connect my Firestick to the room tv to watch live football 😉. Breakfast included was excellent and plentiful and although I never thought we would use it, the food at the Bistro attached to the hotel served really good food - with the bonus of a 15% discount as a hotel guest. Location was perfect for everything Tavira had to offer"
