Manti Cottage, Historic Pioneer Home

  • The historic charm of this pioneer home will surely enhance your Manti experience! Built in 1851 with the same rock as the temple, yet fully updated for comfort. Come stay in one of the State's oldest homes! 1 block from the Temple property (2 blocks from the temple). 1 block from the high school, swimming pool & fairgrounds. Great location! Located near Manti Canyon-a great access to Skyline Drive. Manti is ATV friendly so you can leave directly from the cottage on your ATV.

    This is a perfect home for honeymoons or anniversaries. Also for larger groups don't forget to check out the Cottage's sister Property: The Manti Manor-an 1871 rock house located just kiddy corner from the cottage. A perfect combination for youth groups and larger family gatherings that might need two houses yet having perfect proximity to each other. See that calendar on VRBO Under Manti Manor.

    This home won the 2015 Utah Heritage Foundation award.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Manti Cottage. It was full of interesting history and antiques. Every detail has been thoughtfully placed The original artwork throughout the cottage was fantastic. I definately recommend staying here.

It was wonderful! Perfect old cottage—authentic for sure. It was a little dusty and drafty, but it’s super old, which gives it its fun charm! Has tons of beds, cool cave-like shower, and a really nice kitchen :-).

The Manti Cottage is a quaint historical home with lots of charm and personality. We loved our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for fixing meals and the dining/living room area was comfortable to eat and relax in. The stairs are very steep and the last step coming down has a bit of a slope so be careful! Thank you for a wonderful stay we enjoyed learning about the history of this charming home.

This beautiful historic home was so fun to stay in. We loved the attention to detail in the decor and its vintage style. Wonderfully historic home with detailed information on many historical items in the home. Stories about the homes builder and owners history were interesting to read. The hosts let us check in a little early to accommodate our schedule. The town of Manti is very friendly. The colors on Skyline drive ( one of the reasons for our trip) were breathtaking. There were a few issues with the functionality of the home, but hey it is a very old home. We had a great time staying at the Manti Cottage.
