“There are many better choices for places to stay in Troncones where the staff and management care about the wellbeing of the guests and the upkeep of the property. Regrettably, our toilet did not flush, the shower curtain fell continously off the wall, the bed was broken and semi collapsed when we sat on it, there were only 8 beach lounge chairs so we could not ever relax and enjoy the view, the foot wash was not filled dragging sand into our room, people who were not guests were welcomed to the……

“Fabulous stay at Casa Manzanillo! This place is an absolute gem. Gorgeous grounds, best view from the pool and pretty much every space. The staff is super friendly and takes care of you so well. The room was cleaned every day. Great and filling breakfast every morning included. We will absolutely be back. ”

One thing that was not totally clear to us until we got there is that all common areas, kitchen, dining, couches, are outdoors (as with most rentals in the area), only the bedrooms are "indoors" with AC. But to open your bedroom and see the gorgeous beach just steps away––wow. That's heaven.”

“This house is pretty awesome. Has all the necessities for a surf trip. In addition, the communication between the property managers is top notch. Wifi is down? Ericka is on it. Ac not working? Roberto is there taking care of it same day. Assuming this house doesn’t get sold, I’ll definitely be coming back here. Note: be respectful of the locals needs. I.e., keep the gate closed, drive slowly, keep a low social media presence, and you’ll have a great time.”

“This home is situated on a medium hill and is built up on the land so that your views of the ocean and surrounding area are stellar. The sounds of the waves are close and wonderful. However, this home is also one of the first homes built in an emerging "neighborhood" so future guests can almost be guaranteed to be met with fires from surrounding neighbors clearing the land as was our case or with inevitable construction sounds. “Very relaxing and within walking distance of many restaurants and small stores. Need more shade umbrellas for pool. Great to have shared kitchen w/refrig/freezer. Very clean and safe feeling. Loved option of open deck doors or AC. Bed was unusually firm that challenged our older body comfort. It is right on the beach so the sound of the ocean waves is very relaxing. The beach is wonderful for walking in either direction. The pool is one of the prettiest we have seen. We will definitely book here……

“This was our second time vacationing in Troncones and the first time staying at Villas Troncones. The accommodations were excellent! The 2bed/2bath w loft was spacious and well furnished with comfortable beds, great air conditioners and fully appointed kitchen. The 10-unit Villas are exceptionally well maintained and the property management and staff were very kind, responsive and professional. The location is fantastic! steps to the beach and within walking distance of many of the best……

“I spent about 3 weeks in this place to relax and surf and what a magical place, the sound of the waves is so present and especially in this place that is very close to the sea and what a vibe comes from this place.
