「George was the perfect host. He drove us down to the ocean where the restaurants are located several times. There was a fruit salad waiting for us on the fridge when we arrived. He gave us grapes from his garden on another day. He gave us advice on getting around the area by bus and regaled us with stories about Greece and his past. 」

「The hotel looks great in general. It is located in Mati which is about 10 euro taxi fare from the Rafina Port. The swimming pool is not too big but good enough, overlooking the bay area. Facilities are all up to standard. All the staff we encountered are friendly and helpful. The reception has been of great help in directing us the transportation to visit Athens, which is about 45 mins away by bus.」

「I booked this hotel because it was near to the airport and I knew I'd need to crash hard after 20+ hours of air travel. In the past I've booked the hotel AT the airport for this purpose, but it's gotten to be exceptionally expensive. This was an amazing option and I will stay here again on my Athens arrive and departure days. It has everything you could possible need, and was easy to find via rental car. You can park your car in a secure underground garage but I felt mine was safe just outside...

「Very nice and quiet apartment. Big and comforting. The bed was excellent and full time hot water. The host is very responsive. I was happy after long and busy day.」

Everything about the space was exactly as described, the instructions to access were clear and we had a choice of restaurants we could walk to. Next time we need a room near the Athens airport (between 10 to 15 minute drive) we will definitely stay here again.」
