The heated L-shaped pool offers up a view of towering palm trees against a blue-sky backdrop. The house comes with a gas grill so you can barbeque burgers and have a great poolside lunch on the covered lanai overlooking the scenic canal. Feel free to use the dock behind your house for your boat or jet ski or simply as a place to sit and dangle your feet in the water and spend a little quality time observing your new neighbors, the seabirds and the jumping fish.

Inside, the home was furnished under the theory that there’s no such thing as too much comfort. The living room is tastefully decorated to create an easygoing coastal feel. A stylish sofa and chairs make it a perfect place to gather and plan out the day’s activities. Plenty of tropical indoor plants enhance the feeling of tranquility. Beveled glass doors beside the dining room table give you a view of the lush garden outside.

The bright, airy kitchen contains barstool chairs and a marble tabletop, along with all the appliances and cookware you need to prepare anything from a formal dinner to a tray of cocktails to bring out to the lanai. Air conditioning and ceiling fans keep the temperature just the way you like it as you relax with a show on the cable television or use the free wi-fi to post photos of all the exciting water sports you tried at Tigertail Beach.

This 79-acre natural gem is filled with miles of white, sandy beaches, warm turquois waters and mangroves. Go exploring on stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, water trikes or paddle boats. As part of the great Bird and Wildlife Trail, Tigertail beach is home to some of the best birding in southwestern Florida. You can also go fishing or shelling, or sign up for an ecotour that takes you to the habitat of the manatees and nesting sea turtles.

After a full day of fun, celebrate with a beachside meal at Tigertail Beach Café. Then take the short walk home to get ready for the next day’s adventure.
