"The place was lovely and probably more so in the spring or in summer. We visited as we had business in town. The place was beautiful however location wise it is best suited for those with cars as there are no restaurants or shops nearby. Transportation is ok but bus intervals are usually 1hr apart. As for the bus stop it is right outside Dolce Vita but it's pitch black dark at night and dangerous so be careful. I would recommend you to rent a car when staying here."

"This place is amazing! We were greeted by Fransesco upon our arrival and he was the kindest and most inviting host I’ve ever had at a hotel. He brought drinks to us at the poolside along with homemade focaccia and olive oil made by his own family on this estate. Not only was it delicious, it was something I’ve never had another host do despite many years of travel. The other staff were equally kind and cheerful. "Our room had a big problem with the smell of sewage coming on the bathroom at the first night, making it very unpleasant to shower or even to sleep (bedroom right next to bathroom). We contacted reception the next morning and were told dismissively by the owner that someone would check the issue after we went out to the beach. When we came back, nothing changed (the smell was still terrible) and we had no message from the hotel. Asking again the reception, we were told that nothing could be...
