"We had a terrible experience. We went to check in for our reserved room at Hotel La Noire. at 3:00 pm . After signing in and paying the city tax, the reservation clerk told us our room was not at the property.. She had a key, led us out the front door , across the canal to a different street in a seedy neighborhood to a building with a pizza parlor underneath where she pointed our room would be. "Friendly staff very accommodating. Great location convenient to public transportation. Comfortable stay. Self serve laundry facility only had 2 sets of washer/dryers, no detergents dispensers available (must bring own). Always fully used, since hotel also house government sponsored long-term stay families with children (like public housing). "
