Floors weren’t swept. Very outdated. Pool was big but hot tub was caution taped off. Very poor condition all around. No towels at pool. Had to leave to ask for some. Breakfast was gone an hour after it opened. I won’t stay here again.

It was not to bad but all the pop machines and ice machines were not working. The third floor has a musty smell plus some cigarettes or some kind of smoke smell in the hallway. I understand that some of it is under new management and understand it is under renovation. It was nice that there was a restaurant right there. Not sure if I would stay there again but I might once it is all done. The pool area needed towels, my kids enjoyed the pool and it's nice that you have a laundry room. It said there was a continual breakfast but there was hardly anything there.

Our actual room was updated and clean. The bed was comfortable. My issue is with the condition of the lobby and the hallways. The carpet is filthy and the halls are dark with a definite odor. I was very happy that the room was in better condition. Our TV remote was missing but the lady at the front desk was very helpful. She found a bunch of extra remotes and came up to our room. Luckily the 1st one worked so we were good. I think the Wyndham has been buying up these older hotels but they would get a lot more repeat business if they would update the entire property. We will not stay here again. Maybe if it was completely redone we would try it again.

Staff were incredibly helpful. Restaurant was open 24/7. Pool was nice. A lot of potential. Elevator wasn't working. Hot tub closed. Laundry not working. No vending. Carpet not attached to floor in hall. Lobby smelled.like dirty water. Bar closed. View from room was a rusty, dirty rooftop. Chair in the room was visibly soiled. Parts of bathroom were held up by bare wood.

The hotel could use some updating . The floor in our room was little squishy you could tell they had a leak at some point . They need to let people know the hot tub isn’t operating and by the looks of it hasn’t for awhile . The best thing about it was the king bed was pretty comfortable. Also don’t look forward to the breakfast to much they just had sausage and eggs so we went elsewhere to get our breakfast.

Hotel is older and rooms are in disrepair. You wouldn’t know from the outside. Our air conditioner unit was held up with 2 cups. The back of the door looked like they started to paint it and gave up. The elevator was scary with male private parts scratched onto the elevator wall. There was mold on the ceiling. There was a hair guard from hair clippers on the bedroom floor and trash under the bathroom cabinet. With all the above complaints the staff was wonderful. The owner of this hotel owes his employees a better place to work and a huge raise.

The staff was nice at least the lady and check in. I had told the lady on the next shift that our room was infested with ants and even showed her pictures which at first she blew off but then reassured me someone would take care of it. However nothing was done for us to accommodate this or refund anything. And i do have pictures proving my claims.

Needs an Update

The property needs updated. There was an offensive smell in the lobby and 2nd floor hall. Fortunately, the room was clean and had a fresh smell. It was gone the next morning. The curtains in the room were thin, not darkening at all. There were street lights right outside the window, shining so bright I could read by them. There were several signs about a Moonshine lounge, we were told it was closed. Take the signs down.

Every time that I come to stay at the Wingate in Marietta, the overall quality of service and hospitality that I receive has definitely exceeded my expectations, especially considering the price-point. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the wifi is great, the breakfast had several nice options, and most importantly for me the room's AC unit worked wonderfully. Special thanks to Abbey and her staff, for being so helpful and accommodating.

Property is under renovation- but my room had ceiling falling down, chair was all torn up, missing edging of counter, and shower was moldy. But overall room was clean, sheets were clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and parking area well lit.
