We stayed here four nights before catching a sailing ship. While not luxurious, this hotel was perfect for our needs. The decor was dated but everything in the room was clean. Sheets clean. The mattress was a little firmer than I prefer but fine for short term. No hot water in the kitchen sink or bathroom sink but the hot water and water pressure in shower were wonderful. Daily maid service. Kitchenette had cups, plates, utensils. Bring your own coffee. We brought cone fillets but there were some in room. Fridge kept things cold. No I’ve machine on floor but when asked the clerk got me a small ice bucket full. The pool was clean and refreshing. Desk clerks responded quickly to any requests. It is in a neighborhood. The Marigot market is 0.8 miles away to walk. It took a couple of tries to find best, quickest route. From front door - turn right for a cute bakery open till 6p. From front door go left to a grocery store with plenty of snacks, drinks. Go left to walk to town and follow road to main thoroughfare, go left, then right at Rue de Republic. Then straight to waterfront, market and restaurants. We pulled our suitcases to waterfront to catch boat. It was bumpy but fine. You could take a taxi. Probably 10 euro.

Very friendly staff. Somewhat dated building but clean overall including spotless linen and bathroom. Located in a residential area about fifteen minutes walk from the port of Marigot.

A delight of a hotel.

My first visit to Fantastic Hotel, and I was delighted by several things: the warm welcome, the lovely room, the swimming pool and the near-by market to purchase food things. Delighted too that it is a short walk to Marigot Market and to the bus terminal for movement around the island. Because of age, I may not return to this hotel or even to the Island, but if I did, Fantastic is a lovey place to stay.

Stop over

Good for a cheap one night stop over. Quite run down, pillows were tiny. Pool was a bonus and instant coffee available in reception. Couldn’t quite see the purpose of a coffee machine in the room with no coffee or filters. If your looking for a cheap stop over would recommend and Super U is ten minute walk away.
