Comfortable 3 bd, 2 bath home on the river. 3 queen beds. Screened porch with propane fire pit. Open deck overlooking the river. Full kitchen. Grill on deck. Less than 2 miles to public boat landing on beautiful Lake James. Use of 2 kayaks. Close to many hiking trails. 2 miles to state park. Also, my wife is a chef that can cook your favorite dinner. Call for pricing. Washer and dryer. Small office for working vacations.

Cute home on the river. VERY clean, smelled wonderful. Kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Only thing for me is I’m an unpacker and it drove me crazy having to keep dry goods on the countertop because there was nowhere to put them. But obviously not a dealbreaker! I thoroughly enjoyed this home and definitely plan to be back!

The photos do a great job representing this home, it’s a small, comfortable, beautiful home that my family and I enjoyed for Christmas! Our favorite part was the back screened porch with a fire pit table! We spent a tremendous amount of time feeling cozy and enjoying the quiet of the wildlife protected area across the water! The road does run just in front of the house but we did not find it to be too noisy aside from the occasional motorcycle or loud truck. We loved our time at this property and would definitely return!

Absolutely love the little house. It was pet friendly so we were able to bring our cats and they absolutely love the screened in porch. As did my husband and I watching the river from the house was amazing. We even got to see one of the birds of prey, catch a fish. We were able to go from the house to multiple hiking spots and just have a great weekend.

If you want a peaceful retreat then look no further! This is your spot! The house is perfectly clean and well appointed. My favorite spot for a morning cup of coffee was the screened in porch looking out at the river. Unfortunately we didn’t get to spend our time allotted there and had to leave early.

Cutest Little River Cabin

Our party of 6 enjoyed our stay at this cute little cabin right on the Catawba River. We had plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were plenty of linens. The little screened porch with the fire pit table was a great place to sit and relax. We appreciated the easy check-in, but check-out even more. There was no long list of chores that had to be completed before we left. We had a hearty breakfast from Bessie’s Diner and Blanton House was amazing.
