「We had a great time at the Hemlock Creek Cabin! The sound of the creek in the distance made sitting on the deck a real pleasure. The view was not spectacular but there were some really neat places that we were able to hike to nearby including 3 ponds. Unfortunately we were not able to catch any fish in either the ponds or the creek but we had fun nonetheless. We made trips to Linville Caverns and Linville Falls (45 mins away) as well as the Nantahala Outdoor Center to white water raft on the...

「The house was cozy and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked except there was only on small pot, but plenty of pans. The listing said the house has private river access. I took that to mean that there was river access directly behind the house. A clarifying statement that river is accessible by a short drive would have been helpful. Once I adjusted my expectations, we had a great time. Thank you.」

「Well appointed home in a great location. There is a beautiful deck/dock at the bottom of the hill, however the hill is steep so it is a hike to get to. Alternatively, there is a neighborhood pool and boat dock, which is a four minute drive from the property. We used this dock to launch our boat and jet skis and it worked great. 」

「What a spectacular home in a lovely setting! We were a group of siblings and a few young adult children visiting our family in nearby Celo, NC. We were very pleased with the home and appreciated all the extra towels & the great seating and lighting in the outdoor spaces. 「The host was always very responsive and respectful. The house was beautiful and situated in a pretty area; it was great sitting on the porch with a fire and listening to the river. Lots of games and River equipment gave us plenty of fun activities to keep us busy without feeling the need to go anywhere else. And I appreciate the host providing supplies and toiletries for the house. Definitely would like to stay here again one day. 」

「Beautiful house and view of the lake! House was clean, well stocked, and the owners are very responsive and friendly. The A/C did have trouble keeping up on a few hot days on the top floor, even with the drapes shut, to the point we asked if someone could look at the HVAC unit while we were there. The owners did send a technician out, and everything seemed to be working correctly. The owners did say they plan to make some additional modifications soon to address the sun light heating up...

「Another great year at the lake. Love the dock and the available slip for our boat. Plenty of room in the house. Great views. Our only issue is the kitchen. The cabinets and drawers are quite small and all the pots and pans are piled beneath the island. After a week, the stools around the island leave you wanting a regular chair to sit and eat. Relatively minor in the grand scheme of things and we try to maximize our time on the water while there. Thanks for having us. 」
