「This was our second stay in the cabin, because it has all the conveniences and comfortable touches anyone could wish for in a mountain vacation home. From the well stocked kitchen, to the very comfy chairs in the living room, to the dining table with stunning views over the mountains, to the comfortable bed on the main level. 「We went to do some hiking, the property was in a great location within an hour of all of the places we wanted to go ( Crabtree falls, Chimney Rock, Tom’s falls). Loved the Linville winery. The owners left plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc. The kitchen was well equipped. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable. Loved the game room and views from the porch!」

「Awesome CLEAN Vrbo. The location is exactly what I needed which was quite peaceful and secluded. We needed to get away and find tranquility. We spent most of our time lounging on the enclosed patio enjoying the fire table. The property has river access. Enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning. Lots to do nearby. Check out the Linville Caverns and Linville falls nearby. Awesome hiking. Host is extremely helpful and communicates promptly. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Will be back!」

「My little family had a great time at the cabin! Great location and easy access to Marion. We were worried because the hot tub is right on the road, but we didn't see anyone during our stay, so it turned out just fine! We need to contact the owner halfway through our stay, and they were very responsive and kind. Overall great stay!」

「House is exactly as described. The views were incredible, property manager was extremely responsive. I did overlook that the owners live in the lower section of the home so we were a little surprised when we heard talking one night but that was my fault. Very clean home and well equipped.」

「The house sits up on a knoll overlooking Lake James. There are amazing views of the lake from most rooms in the house and the front porch/fire pit area. Also nice Mountain View’s in the back. House is really nice and has been updated / renovated recently. Our stay was short but really enjoyed staying here and would definitely look to come back in the future!」

From having bathrooms in each room, bike racks, recovery boots- the whole team absolutely loved the location. I will say be prepared for the most difficult climb of the day being the driveway, but that aspect just made the trip that much more enjoyable」
