Bed felt somewhat hard and uncomfortable- but linens were clean and comfy and bed wasn’t impossible to sleep in- just wasn’t the most comfortable I’ve slept in- not a deal breaker and I’d stay again. I think it is an area that could be improved. ”

“We have stayed at the inn before several years back, and decided to stay again. We love the historic look of the Balsam mountain Inn, we learned that it changed ownership a few years back and the new owners are looking to preserve the classic look that appeals to everyone so much. They want to keep it as original as possible which is great, the down side of that is they removed the window units from the rooms. This may sound bad to some but for me it was a welcomed trip back to my childhood of……
