"I highly recommend this property for rental. I rented Sweetgum with my long time college friends for our 60th BDay get-together. The house was perfect and the sweet little town center of Black Mountain was a short 5 minute drive. The 4 bedrooms with many bed options was wonderful. The house was super clean, the porch was perfect for coffee in the morning, the dining room table served us well for dinners and our fun game nights. The living room was great too.Of course, one of the most important things about renting with AvantStay was that the communication was excellent. The check-in & checkout instructions were clear and whenever I had a question, I got an immediate response. Thank you."

"Well-appointed cabin. Every day made us love it more! Great hosts! The cypress and pine ceilings in the cabin are stunning!!! The great room is perfect for relaxing and getting all the mountain cabin "feels"! During the summer, the foliage blocks the mountain views, but we didn't mind as we felt tucked away in nature and had privacy. Very close to downtown Black Mountain and Montreat. Fabulous location! The king bed and twin beds were very comfortable for adults. Didn't try the queen bed. Recommend bringing your own pillow if you like fluffy pillows. Having one full bathroom with shower tub worked great for our party of four. The water pressure and water temp were fantastic! The half bath/laundry room combo worked great for non-bath times. Everyone in our party stated they would stay in the cabin again. Looks like a great place for families with children - swing set on site and places to gather around a fire pit. Rustic cabin and amenities so kids can have a great time without parents having to monitor their every move. All in all - just gives off good mountain cabin vibes. It was obvious the hosts put a lot of effort into their home - enough to keep the mountain cabin feeling, but also bring in some necessary comforts, like the oversized leather chair, extra blankets, TVs, games, puzzles, soft towels, beautiful dishes, etc. Loved the cabin; loved the hosts; loved the area; loved it all! Recommend!!!!"

"My wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing stay at Creekside Cottage. The property is just a short, easy drive from downtown Black Mountain along Route 9 and is tucked away in a peaceful, quiet setting.True to its name, the cottage sits right beside a beautiful creek, and the soothing sound of the flowing water made it the perfect place to unwind. The cottage itself is spacious, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the large screened-in porch was a favorite spot for enjoying our morning coffee and relaxing in the evenings.Tony and Maria were outstanding hosts. They communicated well before and throughout our stay, making the entire experience seamless and welcoming.We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Creekside Cottage and hope to return for another stay next summer. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway."

"The Country Girl Cottage is a peaceful hideaway behind the owner's home, nestled in beautiful, well-tended gardens. The front porch on the cottage is peaceful and wonderful for taking in the view of the gardens, reading, enjoying your morning coffee or your evening wine. The cottage itself is well-equipped and quaintly decorated with antique pieces and also a comfortable sofa for relaxing. The kitchen is small, but perfectly equipped for a weekend stay. We have now stayed at The Country Girl 4 times and will happily return in the future."

"The cabin was charming, peaceful, and easy to access. It felt private without being so secluded that I felt completely isolated. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the cabin was thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed. The hosts were very responsive and made the entire stay easy and enjoyable.
