「Great getaway to the Laurel Mountains. Spotless, clean, quiet and secluded. Easy check in, location is off grid, and away from others. There was work being done on water lines near the property which impacted water pressure. This is beyond the control of the property manager, but before you book, double check to make sure that work is finished, or make the informed decision to book in spite of the friendly notice. No complaints on our end; just wanted to mention the situation for others. Hot Tub...

「There are no words that would describe how beautiful this property is! So quiet and so much to do close by! We rode bikes, hiked, and watched wildlife, and even if we wanted to stay in the house was well stocked with everything you need. From a stocked kitchen to smart Tv and let’s not forget the Hot tub! 「Cabin is very nice but felt you should include photos of Orndorff cabin in proximity to Schaeffer house. It was not occupied, but if it was, it would have changed our entire trip due to loud talkers in our group around the fire ring. Cleanliness was good except half eaten oreo left on top of refrigerator. Made me wish I would of bought the oreos I was looking at the prior day. Honestly did like the Schaeffer house.」

「Exceptional accommodations! The owners provided so many surprises for us to enjoy. We had snacks, beverages and s’mores! We had a fun time finding gnomes in their enchanted forest.
